The Frida app and access

Frida is a daily support and organization app designed for adults living with schizophrenia, with routines, personal tracking, journaling and appointment preparation. Downloads for iOS and Android are coming soon. It does not replace professional care.

The app is designed for iOS and Android. Its documented tools include symptom and mood entries, manual medication logs, routine checklists, a journal, appointment preparation, grounding exercises and a personal safety plan. A manual medication log is not a scheduled medication notification service.

Frida downloads are coming soon. The app does not yet have public App Store or Google Play listings. Join the Frida waitlist for availability and launch updates.

The AI companion is part of the app

Frida's AI companion is intended for breaking goals into steps, reflecting on notes and preparing questions for appointments. It is a feature of Frida, not a separate healthcare provider.

Messages sent to the AI are processed by OpenAI's API to generate responses. AI responses can contain errors or omit information. Check generated summaries against your own notes. The companion does not diagnose schizophrenia, determine whether an experience is a hallucination, or provide emergency monitoring.

Frida Voice and Frida Band are wearable concepts

Frida Voice is a screenless microphone strap concept for optional voice notes and spoken check-ins. A physical mute switch, recording indicator and optional voice analysis are planned.

Frida Band is a wearable concept combining planned voice check-ins with sleep, activity and heart-rate estimates. Connection to the Frida app is planned for both concepts.

Both wearables are in development. A launch date, final specifications and pricing have not been announced. Psychosis prediction and relapse prevention are research goals, not validated Frida capabilities. A recording cannot confirm or rule out a hallucination.

Product descriptions and clinical evidence

Frida is intended to complement professional care. It is not a diagnostic tool, treatment replacement or emergency service. Decisions about treatment belong with a qualified healthcare professional.
